ChessKing™ chess boards follow the exact specification with respect to pixel placement as found in Chessmaster 3000 for the Macintosh by Software Toolworks. If you own Chessmaster 3000 you can set your monitor to thousands or millions of colors and open their boards; or, you can set your monitor to 512 grays and open their boards. Of course, you use ResEdit to extract the boards from the Chessmaster application and then paste them into your paint program and then save them as PICT files.
When you choose a game from the File menu, make sure that you open the chess board having the appropriate dimensions.
